Workpackage 5: Development of protocols for detection of target analytes
Objectives:
· Establishment of experimental protocols for immobilization of different bioreceptors (molecular allergens) on sensing surface by using automated dispensation
· Establishment of experimental protocols for detection of target biomolecules (specific IgE/IgG)
· Establishment of experimental protocols for sample treatment (human serum)
· Analytical characterization of the system for different allergens
Verification of the protocols in human samples
Within this WP, the needed protocols for proper functioning of biochip-kit will be investigated and optimized for the selected allergens. Experimental conditions for different steps (biofuntionalization, detection of target analytes, sample treatment…) need to be stablished for definition of operating conditions. Likewise, the biosensor system needs to be characterized in order to know its features from an analytical point of view.
